De motor heeft deze naam gekregen ter gelegenheid van de legendarisch rit naar Noordpool in 1928. Guiseppe Guzzi maakte die rit op een 500cc Moto Guzzi.De Norge 1200 is moderne motorfiets, met een 1200cc, van brandstofinjectie voorziene V-twin motor, die 68kwh\/90pk bij 9.500.toeren levert. <\/span>\u00a0
De motor is gebaseerd op het huidige Breva 1100 model, met veel kracht onderin, zodat twee personen gemakkelijk vervoerd kunnen worden met al hun bagage, zonder steeds van versnelling te hoeven wisselen.<\/span>
Tevens is hij voorzien van een volle kuip, waarbij het scherm eletrisch op de juiste hoogte gezet kan worden, Tom Tom navigatie, roestvrij stalen uitlaat met ingebouwde katalysator, 23 liter tank, waarbij lange afstand ritten naar de Noord Pool tot de mogelijkheden behoren.<\/span>
Er is nog niets bekend over de price, maar het lijkt erop dat dit de meest complete toermotor is die Moto Guzzi ooit gebouwd heeft.
