Norge - motorcycling jacket
Elegance and protection go hand in hand in this ¾ length jacket in PA 6.6 cotton, specially designed for long journeys. The jacket, in stylish anthracite, features an inside back zip for attaching to the dedicated trousers. The pockets are rain-proof. Sleeves, neck and waist are all adjustable. For comfort in all seasons, the jacket is fitted with an internal membrane in water-proof and breathable D-Dry®, as well as a removable microcell foam thermal lining. Safety is built in too, thanks to removable composite shoulder and elbow armour and a pocket for back armour. The Norge jacket comes in sizes S, M, L, XL and XXL.
Norge pants – motorcycling trousers
The perfect combination for the Norge jacket, these trousers in PA 6.6 cotton zip on to the back of the jacket. An elastic crutch insert ensures total freedom of movement, and a water-proof and breathable D-Dry® membrane ensures fantastic comfort on even the longest rides. The trousers also feature a microcell foam thermal lining that can be removed in the summer without reducing the level of protection. Both the waistband and the leg bottoms are adjustable. The anthracite colour matches that of the jacket. Like the jacket, the trousers come in sizes S, M, L, XL and XXL.
Talon - winter gloves
Combining high-tech hand protection and great practicality, these winter gloves in Cordura® by Dupont are enhanced by cowhide leather and aramid fibre inserts, and contain a water-proof Youngtech® membrane. Talon gloves are available in black and come in sizes S, M, L, XL and XXL.
Moto Guzzi helmet
Unrivalled safety, stylish design, advanced technology, and fantastic comfort all go into this great helmet. Grey in colour, with the Moto Guzzi logo, this helmet is dedicated to the Norge 1200 and features a HIR-TH (High Resistance Thermoplastic) resin shell that ensures an excellent level of safety. The helmet is homologated in the ‘P’ class normally only achieved by fixed full-face helmets. Maximum attention has been paid to comfort too. The ventilation system includes front and top air intakes and rear vents. The Dry Comfort® lining is removable, washable and resistant to hygienising treatments. On the road, the scratch-proof and mist-proof polycarbonate visor provides 100% UV protection, and the chin-piece can be opened quickly and easily with one hand. Touring boots
Specially designed for touring, these sturdy boots in 2mm thick black cowhide are fully water-repellent and breathable. Maximum comfort is ensured by a Windtex® breathable membrane and a toe joint in water-repellent leather. The oil-resistant, high-strength sole ensures a reliable grip when you finally put your feet on the ground. Shin, ankle, toe and heel guards provide excellent protection against typical knocks and resist unlimited mileage. The practical zip and Velcro lateral closing system incorporates a reflective insert for enhanced passive safety. Touring boots are available in all sizes from 41 to 46.

Tijdens het bijwonen van de lancering van 2006-modellen in Mandello Del Lario kregen wij sterke aanwijzingen dat het volgende project van Moto Guzzi een sportsbike zal zijn. Het management van Moto Guzzi heeft dit ook in het openbaar geuit. Het enige dat we nu weten is dat de fiets een aërodynamischere vorm en een uitgebreidere stroomlijnkap dan oude V11 zal krijgen. Wij hebben naar Norge 1200 voor aanwijzingen gekeken om ons een beeld te vormen hoe de stroomlijnkap zou kunnen uitzien. Wij lanceren nu twee ontwerpen die op twee verschillende richtingen zijn gebaseerd.
De zilveren fiets is gebaseerd op de in Daytona winnend MGS-01 Corsa, een straatversie van de racer met 135pk.
Het schitterende rode ontwerp is gebaseerd op een Griso 1100 met stroomlijnkap, nieuwe vering en radiale remmen van Brembo. De speculaties dat Moto Guzzi zou kunnen gaan deelnemen aan de Wereld Superbike races is enkel onzin aangezien een gloednieuwe watergekoelde motor daarvoor ontworpen zou moeten worden. Denk meer in de lijnen van BMW R1200S sportsbike eerder dan Ducati 999. Het is goed om te zien dat Moto Guzzi in de lijnen van een nieuwe sportsbike denkt aangezien zij letterlijk de moderne motorfiets uitvonden heeft.

De motor heeft 3500 km gereden en had nog geen speling op het achterwiel, opmerkelijk omdat bij de demontage de hele kooi er al uit lag.
Affijn, beter nu hersteld dan wanneer het echt te laat is.
CARC weer opgebouwd met de juiste lagers en een verse keerring.
Aan te raden is ,zoals MOTO GUZZI vermeld, om zo snel mogelijk deze eerste serie lagers te laten vervangen bij de dealer.
Door onzorgvuldige kwaliteitscontrole van de leverancier zijn lagers van een mindere kwaliteit geleverd.
De betreffende frame nummers en CARC nummers zijn bij de dealers bekend.

The MGS-01 Corsa is designed for racetrack use only and is built by Moto Guzzi to the highest standards of craftsmanship to satisfy the demands of real sports bike enthusiasts. It is powered by an air cooled, four valve, four stroke 90° V twin engine of 1225 cc that packs a massive punch at all engine speeds. Ohlins suspensions, Cosworth pistons and a Brembo braking system complete the top level equipment of a bike that this double victory at Daytona has admitted to the motorcycle hall of fame, already populated by innumerable world-beating Guzzis from past.
