The Moto Guzzi California Vintage is a special edition of theItalian tourer, which echoes the styling of the first Guzzi LAPD Police bikes, sold in the 70s.
With spoked wheels, steel mudguards, fog lights and stainless steel strip on the fairing screen and a chrome luggage rack, the bike has that old school Guzzi charm, but all the modern technology of a 21st century touring machine.
The California now runs the Breva 1100 motor, with much improved performance. There’s a new alternator too, plus tweaks to the throttle bodies and brake pressure distributor.
No word on price, or UK availablity, but insidebikes.com is guessing it will be around £8600, plus OTR charges, and in the shops for the March registration, although numbers will be limited.
